Base techniques (evening)
Are you crazy about jewellery? Come and saw, file, hammer,... and get your hands dirty! The result: you are going home with some jewellery of your own design. You can choose between your own hanger or pair of earrings.

Content
What will you learn during these 3 evenings?
You will learn the basics of sawing, filing and sanding. We will also learn how to drill, stamp and hammer.
We apply all these techniques to your own designs.
Finally, you will finish your jewellery.
You don't need to have any previous knowledge of the base techniques of jewellery design. But if you do have some, this workshop is still useful: you will be able to work on more complex pieces and you will have more time to work on your own jewellery.
We will work with copper and brass. These are relatively inexpensive metals, but they can still be perfectly finished into a wearable piece of jewellery.
You will be guided through the creative process of designing your own jewellery. Depending on the complexity of your design, you go home with 1 to 2 jewels.
